About Hull Photographic | Darren Hull
Darren Hull is an accomplished photographer of fashion, music, and editorial portraiture. A photography student from a very young age, Darren's work is informed by a strong sense of storyline. From 1994 until 2001 hull photographic was based in Vancouver, where he was assisting for Photographer David Anthony. Its was shortly after Darren earned a reputation for shooting graphic, evocative portraiture and fashion. He has sinced relocated to the Okanagan where he continues to capture innovative images for global and local clients.
Since the relocation, Darren has focused on Wedding Photography "We approach each wedding as an editiorial assignment, we are organized and prepared and offer images as unique as the individual".

Hull Note:
The first time I ever picked up a camera and looked through the lens, it changed the way I looked at the world. It's now almost an obsession to look at people and the world in an entirely different way, different angles, different moods: but always in a non-judgmental way. In the human form, mood and personality show in the body language, in the eyes. This is what makes us all so very individual, this is what I try to capture.
Rarely do I use artificial light : Natural light = natural results.
